We are a friendly evangelical church in Withnell, near Chorley in Lancashire.  As those seeking to love and follow Jesus Christ we welcome people from all walks of life and wherever you are from. We believe that in the Bible God speaks a message of hope and forgiveness that is life-giving and life-changing.

There are two contrasting services on Sundays, an informal lively family service at 9.30am and a service of worship at 11am.  We are part of the Heapey with Withnell benefice, with our sister church St Barnabas.  Together we serve the Villages of Abbey Village, Brinscall, Heapey, Higher Wheelton, Wheelton, Withnell and Withnell Fold.  We are a foundation parish for school admissions for both Brinscall St John's Church of England and Methodist Primary School and St Michael's High School Chorley.

In the week there's Cubs, Beavers & Scouts, Youth Groups, Bible Study, Women's FellowshipMums and Toddlers, Mothers Union and Prayer Meeting.

Please feel free to explore our pages to find out more about our church. We would love to welcome you to one of our services held every Sunday or one of the mid week activities.

As a church we have adopted the House of Bishops ‘Promoting a Safer Church’ policy and the Parish Safeguarding Handbook, incorporating the House of Bishop’s Safeguarding Policy and Practice Guidance
